About

Michelle Ribbens

Michelle Ribbens believes that Classical Pilates found her! After undergoing discectomy surgery in 2017 to remove a herniated disc, Michelle was searching for something, though she wasn’t sure what.

Then she discovered Classical Pilates, and it brought her back to life. Now, she’s a passionate advocate for the power of movement, especially spinal mobility, firmly believing that even when something feels broken, it can be healed.

In this workshop, Michelle will share techniques, tools, and skills that empower you to practice Classical Mat work independently. Her approach is grounded in both professional expertise and personal experience.

Michelle began dancing at the age of three and went on to train at The Centre of Performing Arts in London, UK. She studied with The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, earning Associate qualifications in Classical Ballet, Tap, and Modern.

Her professional career as a dancer and choreographer spans numerous companies across the UK, with a career highlight of performing on cruise ships for over seven years. Michelle has danced across continents and brought her artistry to stages around the world. She moved to Dubai in 2009 and opened Prima Performing Arts dance school in 2010.

A certified Classical Pilates teacher since 2019, Michelle is now taking the next exciting step—opening her own studio.

Join her in this inspiring workshop to learn how to move, heal, and strengthen from the inside out.
